Bio

Krystal was born in the midwest and grew up in Memphis Tennessee where she began singing in church and school choirs.  She sang her first solo in a baptist church when she was four years old.  Over the years, Krystal would continue to perform with school and church ensembles,  culminating with her experience at Stanford University singing with "Talisman" a world class a cappella group exploring world, roots, and R&B music, and the Stanford Chamber Chorale, the university's premier choral ensemble.  It was during her years with the 24-voice chamber chorale studying everything from early music (Byrd, Talis) to contemporary composers that Krystal also developed a love for vocal jazz.  Since then, she has developed her own unique vocal style that draws heavily upon jazz influences, R&B, and even a sprinkling of Memphis blues.

For years in the Phoenix, AZ area, Krystal enjoyed a busy performance schedule around the valley.  Now based in Central Florida, she continues to add to her eclectic repertoire of jazz standards, bossa nova, R&B, and pop.  Whether it's a show at a bistro, wine bar, or sitting in at a jazz jam, she continues to delight audiences with her silky smooth vocals, soulful interpretations, and her ability to sing everything from Jobim to Coldplay.

Krystal performs at corporate events, private wine tastings, birthday celebrations and holiday parties, and she especially enjoys singing at wedding festivities!
